How my journey began
My sister gifted me art lessons when I was 25 years old, something I was always interested in, but never took the time to do. After taking art for a while, I was asked to join the teaching staff. I taught children’s art classes for a few years, but because of life circumstances, had to give that up. Life became very busy, with my husband starting a new business and me working for him, and three children to raise. Art sat on the back burner for 18 years.
In 2019, I decided it was time to begin to draw and paint again, so I offered art classes in my home once a week. But then, the pandemic hit, and once again, my art was put on hold. When quarantine was lifted, I began offering monthly Paint & Take classes for adults, but had a difficult time finding a location to consistently hold those classes.
In December 2021, the current location of the studio became available, and we officially became a studio and gallery! We are a working studio. We have art supplies for purchase, but also offer both children and adult classes, commissions, painting parties, and more.
Whether you are an experienced artist who just wants to paint with other like-minded people, or a new artist, we are here to help you unlock your creativity!
